  The Blancos will be back in La Liga action on Saturday when taking in one more outing at Santiago Bernabeu before the next international break is reached. Bellingham is among those due to head out of the Spanish capital after being included in England’s latest squad.

  The 20-year-old midfielder will want to make that trip with more minutes at club level under his belt, with an unfortunate knock picked up last time out against Rayo Vallecano. Madrid have been taking no risks on the youngster’s fitness, but have welcomed him back to full training.

  Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti told reporters when asked for an update on Bellingham and whether he is likely to feature in a home date with Valencia: “We are focused on what can happen tomorrow. The player says he feels comfortable, today he trained and tomorrow he will be available. If nothing happens in the next few hours, he will play.”
